Been watching the latest Thumbs Up advertisement featuring their poster boy Akshay Kumar yesterday. It was aired a lot during the match and hence got a lot of air play. The Ad is good - fast, furious and Akshay is looking very good. The short hair looks good on him. In fact I didn't like the Welcome look on him. Trying to make a wicked guy look sweet and decent. This shoirt hair makes him look hunky, mean and atrociously good looking. It's back to his Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri days again.

The adverstisement though good is not spectacular, but I must admit the music is sensational. Every time the ad came on I pauised it just to catch the tune. It has a nice funky beat to it and suits the ad very well. The idea is a bit too far fetched though - Akshay trying to get his Pepsi botle back from a ruaway truck.

I was wondering who the babe is. I thought she may be a phirangi, but they she speaks a Hindi line - but that doesn't mean she is Indian. She definitely looked foreign. And knowing our fascination for and knowtowing to white skin; she might as well be a Angrez mem. Sigh. Pretty though. But give me Sheetal Malhar, Viveka Babajee, Shamita Singha, Urvashi Sharma any day.
