It's Dhoom star Abhishek Bachchan's birthday today. He turns 32. It will be his first birthday as a married man. He married former Miss World Aishwarya Rai last year in a smallish ceremony at the Bachchan residence last year due to the illness of his grand-mother, Teji Bachchan.

Abhishek has had a relatively quiet 2007 as his two major releases-  Dhoom 2 went on to be a huge hit, but his buddy Duggu that is Hrithik Roshan gobbled up all the credit. And Guru where he was praised for his excellent portrayal of the aggressive businessman, Gurukant Desai. His other releases, where he had smaller roles like Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, bombed badly. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was an average hit but he was widely appreciated in the mediocre and confuding film. He ended up getting more sympathy than the main leads in the movie, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee.

He does have an interesting catalog of films to offer this year with Dilli 6 and Drona in the pipeline and later Dhoom 3.
