Was just reading the music review of U me aur Hum on rediff and they have given it 4 stars. Surprising since a friend of mine recently saw heard the songs and said they are quite boring. And when I caught the promos on TV I too found it the regular Bollywood music, nothing new or special.

So for Rediff to give such an excellent review it is surprising. And the reviewer is Raja Sen who is known for tearing apart most movies in his reviews (all critics do it...are they all sado-machoistic?? ). Anyway, I hope what he says is true as hearing part of the song does not always give the right impression.

Another reason is that some songs take time to grow on you. Remember Aashiqui?? The movie started out slowly and later went on to become a huge hit. It has happend for quite a few movies.
