This is one come back that has me majorly interested. Why? Have you watched Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi? No? Then you should drown yourself in a tiny bowl of water. It also means you have missed one of the best films of this decade. Surprised? You say there wasn't Shah Rukh, Aamir, Salman, Akshay or the Big B in the movie- so how could it be so good. Wel this movie is not about stars, its about a brilliant director (Sudhir Mishra) and about competent actors. I use the word competent - they were actually brilliant. I mean an actor like Kay Kay was upstaged by a newbie like Shiney Ahuja. Yesssss. This was Shiney's first film and also teh one that brought him into the cross hairs of Bollywood directors and producers.

This movie also saw the introduction of one of the most promising and talented and beautiful and extremely confident actors called Chitrangada Singh (or Chitrangda Singh). She was so good critics called her the next Smita Patil. If you can do that in your first film, then you must have the mojo.
She is also extemely beautiful. I am attaching a few pics of hers and that will give you an idea what I am talking about. I totally flipped for this woman. She is gorgeoussssssssssssss.

Well the idea of this blog post is that she is making a come back. After Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, she did only one more movie, Kal (directed by Ruchi Narain) which tanked, and got married to India's ace golfer Jyoti Randhawa and upped and left from Bollywood. She also left many swooning directors and casting directors who were anxious to cast her in her films and one very pissed lady director Ruchi Narain and her team of the movie Kal. The reason was Chitrangada didn't help in the publicity and marketing of the film. The films tanked badly and she got a kind of a reckless reputation.

Now she is back and apparently is serious about her second innings. My Brother Nikhil director Onir's had signed her for his next movie Sorry Bhai. We wish her film crew all the best for this venture and Chitrangada ... stick around. Pleasure to have you on the screen.
