Character actor Raghuvaran who shot to fame with his role in Shiva passed away in a hospital in Chennai. The end came on Wednesday morning following a brief illness. Raghuvaran who was reported to be 60, has left behind a son from his ex-wife Rohini. He acted in over 80 movies from both the Malayalam and Tamil Industry. Raghuvaran had made a name for himself with his special style and voice modulation.
He was admitted to a private hospital following an ailment about a week back. I will always remember him for his brilliant portrayal of a Don living on the edge in Ram Gopal Verma's Shiva. Though that film was a great hit for its lead actor Nagarjuna and his paring with his to be wife Amala. But it also got rave reviews for Raghuvaran for his prortayal as the violent and cold blooded gangster.
